Wow, I really suck at the updating thing don't I? Well, it's been about a year hasn't it? This past year, I joined the Phoenix Wright Musical Project and it's coming along awesomely and you should all go look for it. Anyway, right now, I'm a bit frustrated, because Phoenix Wright villains have taken over the forum -_- Joooooy huh? So now I'm on the investigation team to try and rescue our kidnapped admins (Yes, this is an RP) and I feel rather useless at it -_- At least I still can talk to said admins OOC. Anyway, I've gotta go. We have a resistance meeting in 10 minutes. Bye!

I have a blog?! Oh yeah... oops

Well, summer has come and gone and I forgot about my blog! To describe all the downtime in a nutshell, I went to Nauvoo for a week and school started. Yay *sarcasmcoughsarcasm*. Anyway, school is back, classes are in full swing and love is in the air. If you recall, in the spring, there was a guy. A reeeeeeeally cute guy. However, we just don't talk that much anymore. We just don't know what to say. In the mean time, other guys are taking interest. I guess its about time to mix things up a bit. Sigh, but that first guy is still super cute...

Life is busy in Nanowrimo land

Hey, I'm reaaaally busy getting ready for NaNoWriMo but I haven't forgotten the blog. Here's a snippet for you:

A young girl of the Avis Tribe, Carissa, follows her brother down to the group of islands below her beloved floating home. Her brother has predicted the end of the world and it’s up to Carissa to prevent it. Their plans take a turn for the worse as they beg for help from the human population and are imprisoned. Now they have nobody to turn to and the end of the world draws nigh! What now?

Well, today is the day of my Lagoon trip. I'm going to a clogging competition up there and I'm sooooo excited, I'm going to burst! Everybody wish me luck! I'm going to make history today! (I'll give you the details when I get back tonight. Right now, my date is honking at me to get in the car. I'm still waiting for him to come knock. Haha, this is so much fun!

Classic Good News, Bad News Moment

Okay here's one of those classic good news, bad news posts. The bad news is I'm not going to prom. Oh well, next year. Now the GOOD news is that instead, the guy I mentioned earlier asked me on a date instead! I can't give details for security but I will tell you we'll be dancing the night away after dinner. Squeee!

Other than my dating life, I have also begun outlining the book that I'll be writing for NaNoWriMo. I've gotten to Chapter 8 with no end in sight. This is going to be sooooo awesome!

A couple weeks ago, I began guitar lessons and now (I'm so proud of myself) I can play Happy Birthday! I feel like I've improved so much in the past time!

I've also started playing Nancy Drew games on my computer. I just finished Curse of Blackmoor Manor and I got so freaked out by Nancy"s nightmare and the event thereafter, I had to sleep with the lights on. I know I'm the biggest chicken in the world but my overactive imagination got the better of me. I just hope there isn't any trouble when I finish Secret of the Old Clock!

Quiet on the Blogging Front

Well I guess it takes a few days for people to discover a blog. Oh well. Today I finished a drawing I've been working on of Carissa or whatever her name ends up being. I wish I could show but I don't have a scanner. I'll see if I can take a picture of it or something later. Anyway, today was soooo boring. I'm very frustrated at this guy I know. I love him to death but I've been trying to get him to ask me to prom for like two months! Guys just don't catch hints very well do they? The worst thing is, Prom is next friday and something tells me I'm not going.
An idea popped into my head this morning and I've been chewing on it for a while but I'm not sure where it's going. I thought of this young girl who has very elaborate dreams in which she is a warrior trying to save the world. Nothing odd there. Until, that is, she gets hurt during one of them (Survey says: Badly Broken Leg) and when she wakes up, the damage is still there! But, where could this go? Sigh... I just don't know.

Confesion Time

Okay now with the intro out of the way, let's get blogging! I was just on serebii.net and found out that Darkrai is coming to the US!!! For those of you who decided to grow up before I do, Darkrai is a pokemon. Yes, I confess. I, Shawni Carrengella, play pokemon. No, I LOVE pokemon. Now I know a lot of you are thinking, "NO!! Not another Pokemon lover!" and are about to click that little button at the top of your screen but STOP! I'm not going to dwell on pokemon, that's not what this blog is about. I just wanted to help spread the word because it's very rare that an event like this happens.

I really don't have much else to write about right now but I'll leave you guys with a delema I'm having. I'm writing a hybrid story, as I mentioned, and It's about a young girl who is half American Kestrel. These are the facts about her: She has a wingspan of 103 inches (sorry don't know how to convert to centimeters), honey colored eyes, light brown hair with blue streaks (same color as her wings), she's determined but shy and I CAN'T FIGURE OUT A GOOD NAME FOR HER! I tried Carissa but... I don't know, it sounds kinda... weak... You know what I mean? Can anybody think of another name? Also, I need to name her adopted brother. He's half Gyrfalcon, wingspan of 138 inches, blonde (nothing like his wings) with green eyes, strong but hard-headed. I was thinking Isaak but...
