Quiet on the Blogging Front

Well I guess it takes a few days for people to discover a blog. Oh well. Today I finished a drawing I've been working on of Carissa or whatever her name ends up being. I wish I could show but I don't have a scanner. I'll see if I can take a picture of it or something later. Anyway, today was soooo boring. I'm very frustrated at this guy I know. I love him to death but I've been trying to get him to ask me to prom for like two months! Guys just don't catch hints very well do they? The worst thing is, Prom is next friday and something tells me I'm not going.
An idea popped into my head this morning and I've been chewing on it for a while but I'm not sure where it's going. I thought of this young girl who has very elaborate dreams in which she is a warrior trying to save the world. Nothing odd there. Until, that is, she gets hurt during one of them (Survey says: Badly Broken Leg) and when she wakes up, the damage is still there! But, where could this go? Sigh... I just don't know.

Confesion Time

Okay now with the intro out of the way, let's get blogging! I was just on serebii.net and found out that Darkrai is coming to the US!!! For those of you who decided to grow up before I do, Darkrai is a pokemon. Yes, I confess. I, Shawni Carrengella, play pokemon. No, I LOVE pokemon. Now I know a lot of you are thinking, "NO!! Not another Pokemon lover!" and are about to click that little button at the top of your screen but STOP! I'm not going to dwell on pokemon, that's not what this blog is about. I just wanted to help spread the word because it's very rare that an event like this happens.

I really don't have much else to write about right now but I'll leave you guys with a delema I'm having. I'm writing a hybrid story, as I mentioned, and It's about a young girl who is half American Kestrel. These are the facts about her: She has a wingspan of 103 inches (sorry don't know how to convert to centimeters), honey colored eyes, light brown hair with blue streaks (same color as her wings), she's determined but shy and I CAN'T FIGURE OUT A GOOD NAME FOR HER! I tried Carissa but... I don't know, it sounds kinda... weak... You know what I mean? Can anybody think of another name? Also, I need to name her adopted brother. He's half Gyrfalcon, wingspan of 138 inches, blonde (nothing like his wings) with green eyes, strong but hard-headed. I was thinking Isaak but...

A First Time for Everything

Wow, my first blog... I still can't belive I'm doing this I mean, if my parents found out... Ah but it's just a blog. Sometimes my parents are waaaay over-protective.

Hello world! I'm Shawni, writer extrodinair! Well okay, not yet but soon I will have my name in bookstores everywhere. I'm sixteen years old living somewhere in Utah but that's all you get you stupid little stalkers.

I gave the blog the title Feather Script because I write stories about a young girl who was genetically altered to have wings (Yeah, yeah, I know it sounds like Maximum Ride but it's not, I swear! I'll give more details later) and well, yeah, that's pretty much the reason. I hope to use this blog to put my ideas online. and, I'm saying this right now, ALL IDEAS IN THIS BLOG ARE MINE AND ANY THIEVES WILL BE... will be... something... probably SUED. I also want to use this blog to stick my opinions where the world can see them. I'm a shy girl and I don't like voicing my opinions in public, but when I get online, expect me to be brutal. I also plan talking about life as a Utah teenager, crap and all.


Also, a warning. I have major ADD, don't expect me to update every single freaking DAY! I'll update when I update.
